WEIGHT LOSS IS AN ONGOING JOURNEY

So before Absolute, I’d never been to a gym before. What I used to do was the same routine I’ve done for many years, which was cardio. It was running. Typically I’d start running at the end of September and, I’d run maybe 5K twice a week. And then literally by the end of November it would all come to an end because I’d be thinking, Hey, it’s Christmas parties.

There were interruptions. It was a literal September to the end of November kind of runner. And then I would try and pick it back up in January for New Year’s resolutions. That would subsequently get pushed back to the end of January, and then I quit by Easter, that was my routine for many, many years over.

Again, I chose absolute because I decided I wanted something different. I was bored of running. I’ve done it for so many years, wasn’t getting any results that I wanted to achieve, thought what can I do different? and decided I wanted to join the gym and do something like weightlifting. I’ve never done that before.

So I just thought to myself, right, let’s Google it. See what’s around locally to me. Came along across absolute. Went through the website, looked at, what they offered, knew I needed some sort of personal training, needed to be trained in how to, how to use weights, et cetera. I’ve never done that before.

So yeah, so I decided to phone , came in, had a look around. Really liked the look of the gym. Really liked, the fact that there were coaches on hand that I could ask for advice all of the time. I liked the variety within the gym as well. There was still cardio, which I kind of wanted to do a little bit of.

But I really wanted to try and just focus on weight, weight, training. I would say everyone, I, you know, my daughter now comes along. She enjoys, coming along to, obviously she’s a lot, lot younger. But I would say anybody, any age, that to come use Absolute. Yeah, anybody, I would, interestingly, weight loss is always my main focus.

That’s  still an ongoing journey for me, but what I have benefited is from is things like I weird, I’m more flexible. I’m a lot stronger and I feel much more balanced, and a little more, lot more in control with my body and I’m a lot, lot happier. So yeah, the weight loss I think is an ongoing journey for me,I reached a lot of other benefits from coming to the gym.
